[Freak : Prelude (Ep. 1)]

it's rather disturbing..

..to read some of the complaints about the voice acting when you put sub-titles and so much of your soul(s) into this! ..it's like Arnold Schwarzenegger never made a bad movie, or was always destined to be President of USA (except the constitution forbids it supposedly) ..your style is your style, and rightfully proud of it! The internet is multi-cultural, so hoped more ppl could appreciate this aspect of our modern world.
Likewise, it's refreshing to see your response to these reviews is in the same attitude which made this heavily stylistic (almost groud-breaking) web-voyage!! Let the journey continue..

You have a good way of seeing things man.
We're not really affected by the negative comments cause we did our best and this episode was a kind of test to see what we could achieve. If we do other episodes, we'll keep doing our voices, work on the accent, be more perfectionnist. But for the character design, dialogs, scenes and style, what can I say, we can't satisfy everyone :)
Anyway we knew we would get a lot of complaints about certain aspect of the movie but it's ok. There's a lot of close-minded people out there. Most of them are like 15 years old. A psychological research should be done on the Newgrounds population. We noticed that our score kept going up until we got 1st. Since then the score keeps going down. hahaha that'S kinda funny :)
Anyway thanks for the "refreshing" comment. I like to respond to those.

Crazy, isn't it? Ah, well, if they don't want to watch, that's their loss, I guess.

I chose the title to focus on the psychological dilemma our character was facing, and less on the obvious physical turmoil.

i found (last nite by coincidence) this very old newspaper cartoon strip (by Trace Hodgson :)_*LUV it!*

One morning i woke up with a SORE tooth!
So i went to the dentist who said "This looks serious. i think you should see a doctor.."
So i went to see this doctor who said "This looks very serious. i think you should see a specialist.."
So i went to the specialist who said "It's extremely serious! You require an urgent operation. Are you medically insured?" "..Nope!"
"Oh dear, i'm afraid it's rather expensive, but must be done"
Fortunately i was out cold for the whole operation but apparently a famous surgeon was called in to do the honours.. DOCTOR: "..THIS 1 EGOR!"
The operation was a sucess but very painful once the anaesthetic wore off.. I had to sell a few things to pay the bills (like my house) but i'm not complaining... NOW i'm just a Hobo "..and when the wind blows from the South and i smile into the breeze, the hole where my tooth once was whistles a little tune about something missing.."

it is a slang for lebanese, unlike "nigger" which is racist.(and if "leb" is racist then so is "aussie" which means you are racist aswell :P)
