Alex, privet.

that is an amazing effort. The characters are small, but the movement is flawless and true to form (looks and feels Russian).
The ambient sounds and scene make lost hours pass in blissful unawares. The attention to detail is phenominal. Again, the look and feel is perfectly grunge, and will make this a classic whether it stays 2D, or goes 3D at some stage. You've outdone yourself on this one, and you really deserve recognition for it. I don't normally say it but this is full-front-page material.

That said, i'm disappointed in fellow NGer who first rated this. When i saw it yesterday it's score was something like 3.7 - it was only by chance you scored daily feature (nothing to compete with). If this hadn't got daily feature i would of rioted in the streets! :)

Anyway, the score will rise and you'll be famous, and the evil world will keep spinning around the sun. We are priviledged on NG that we get to see such stuff exclusive for free.

Lastly, i'm working on 3D FPS code that's nearly ready for skinning and may kontakt u about it. Salute!

this is an insult to good Flash that gets blammed everyday.

You make out it's special, but it's like 4 years late to be anything special (and this piece of krap has more votes than my TWO actionscripted works that took me over a year to code :*(

try not to be quite so bitter... I know it sucks when you see something you've done done by someone else, only not quite as well, get more praise than yours did... if it makes a difference, I don't think this is anything special either, but I think the thing most people are flipping out over is how I got so much content into the low file size... I'm a little flattered and bemused you'd compare my work with yours - your work was on a completely different scale to mine.
And why can't you accept that a few lines of code used in a clever way can be interesting to some people?
It's very unfair of you to say that the portal reaches a new low just because a few people go nuts over some simple action script- I would think that most people would prefer this anyday of the week to yet another poorly animated stick movie...

when the ball hits the bat it has to do more than rebound at 90 degree angles. It's possible to sit all day hoping it might hit some block.
Also, there is only 1 level only.

Anyway your right about that The next version if I make it Will have side collision a little randomness and gravitational effect, Im also thinking of the ailty to grab the ball to the bat for a few millisecondslike in Crash Bash
