[Freak : Prelude (Ep. 1)]

it's rather disturbing..

..to read some of the complaints about the voice acting when you put sub-titles and so much of your soul(s) into this! ..it's like Arnold Schwarzenegger never made a bad movie, or was always destined to be President of USA (except the constitution forbids it supposedly) ..your style is your style, and rightfully proud of it! The internet is multi-cultural, so hoped more ppl could appreciate this aspect of our modern world.
Likewise, it's refreshing to see your response to these reviews is in the same attitude which made this heavily stylistic (almost groud-breaking) web-voyage!! Let the journey continue..

You have a good way of seeing things man.
We're not really affected by the negative comments cause we did our best and this episode was a kind of test to see what we could achieve. If we do other episodes, we'll keep doing our voices, work on the accent, be more perfectionnist. But for the character design, dialogs, scenes and style, what can I say, we can't satisfy everyone :)
Anyway we knew we would get a lot of complaints about certain aspect of the movie but it's ok. There's a lot of close-minded people out there. Most of them are like 15 years old. A psychological research should be done on the Newgrounds population. We noticed that our score kept going up until we got 1st. Since then the score keeps going down. hahaha that'S kinda funny :)
Anyway thanks for the "refreshing" comment. I like to respond to those.

i'll marked it up 1 for the extra effort, then i marked it down 1 for not quite making "a final"

here's a few tips for your next sequence;

- music with intro text (and a skip button also!)

- if this was already a series we'd know who "uber-001" dude is, and not konfuze him with the "pimp" dude.. (the intro gives us an expectation we'll get a camera shot of our leading soldier 1st) ..but instead, we start not knowing who we're watching.. by the end we know who's who, but then we have to watch it again to follow the plot or get the joke. Sure, it soundslike a fine detail, but why else would you need an intro text anyway? ;0)

coincidences that "they are coming!" had the same music/theme and was submitted barely 10 minutes earlier.

this one came out much the better thou :) i really enjoyed the non-human element!

beautiful and distinctive style you have! (before watching this i saw your other; Nitro :) and it's certainly a style worth persevering with. Excellent original sci-fi which (despite the requests) doesn't need much of a plot - like a comicbook that slowly develops around central characters (on artistic merit)

I look forward to seeing more, and you needn't be so humble in your own appraisal ^_~
